What you'll find:
An absolute institution of a cafe, Scotts has been in Hamilton for as long as I can remember, the staff are ALWAYS fantastic and it's in the most beautiful old building in the heart of the Hamilton CBD, a long skinny cafe right on the main street that has the best hidden oasis of a courtyard out the back. Always plenty of yummy cabinet food and great menu options. This one is a winner in my books.
Can't go past:
Scotts Aglio Olio is so well known, it's been a menu staple forever, simple fresh pasta with a bit of zing, it's always a crowd favourite!

Handy to know:
Their courtyard has a little known back entrance off Alexandra Street, through a carport door during open hours, this is always the best way to arrive with dogs so you don't have to run them through the cafe. My favourite inner city spot, especially on a hot summers day, it's so well shaded and lush back there!
