8th Brunch Club - The Sugar Bowl
A running diary of all our Brunch Club spots and the cafe's we'd love you to visit.
*Disclaimer, we do NOT get any kickback from supporting these cafes, these are genuine reviews of the places we know can handle dogs, the details of what they offer and why we love them.
June 2020 - First Brunch Club after Lockdown ended!
What you'll find: A popular suburban cafe with a huge covered outdoor area, well sheltered on wet days with patio heaters for winter warmth, these guys have expanded hugely over the years to seat plenty, as needed because it's always so popular! Megan and her team are always warm and friendly and LOVE dogs as much as we do, so a perfect place to visit with your pooches.
Can't go past: the French Toast or Rhubarb and saffron pancakes! Another favorite spot of mine because they're always serving up amazing brunch concoctions that aren't the same old boring sweet options.
Open: 7am-2pm Mon-Fri, 8am-2pm Sat & Sun
Handy to know: The Sugar Bowl is usually busy on Saturdays during netball season so expect a small wait, it's worth it I promise! Minogue park is just up the hill with a huge off lead dog exercise area for a run around before or after Brunch! There is a car park on site or street parking through the surrounding streets.
