9th Brunch Club - St Kilda Cafe & Bistro, Cambridge
A running diary of all our Brunch Club spots and the cafe's we'd love you to visit.
*Disclaimer, we do NOT get any kickback from supporting these cafes, these are genuine reviews of the places we know can handle dogs, the details of what they offer and why we love them.
What you'll find: A warm inviting eatery with generous indoor and outdoor space nestled in Cambridge's St Kilda suburb, The outdoor patio is well sheltered and always warm with overhead heaters in winter time and lovely and cool in summer, the patio overlooks the St Kilda Nature Resverve which includes wetlands, a loop walk (with plenty of dog poop bins) and an awesome kids playground with bike track. The patio is dog friendly with water bowls provided, the staff are always attentive and welcoming and the menu caters for all tastes from breakfast/brunch right through to evening cocktails and dinner.
Can't go past: The French toast! I think we all know by now I'm a sucker for a well loaded sweet breakfast option (as long as it's not the boring bacon, maple banana) this french toast is loaded with seasonal fruit, sorbet and mascarpone, a well balanced and zesty option. Their coffee and drinks menu is extensive and offers amazing smoothies as well as the usual coffee options, and a personal favourite: Hot chocolate with a Whittaker's Sante bar.
Handy to know: The patio is best accessed by walking around the building to the left from the carpark, as it's preferable not to walk dogs through the cafe, if you have a group, I always recommend booking in advance, there is generous parking on site and plenty of street parking nearby.
